ÚBEDA, MY CITY

Úbeda is a World Heritage City located in the south of Spain, in Jaén. It has approximately 35,000 people and offers a wide variety of services and incredible views to its citizens and tourists thanks to its location on a hill. This city is Renaissance and in it they have lived 3 different cultures: Jews, Muslims and Christians.

MONUMENTS

While we walk through its streets we can know a little more about the history of Úbeda. Among the most famous monuments are the church of Santa Maria, El Salvador, the Hospital of Santiago, the church of San Pablo or the Water Synagogue.

 TYPICAL FOOD
The typical dishes of Úbeda are:
  • Ochíos: Type of salty orange bread, normally stuffed with blood sausage. 
  • Andrajos: Stew of flour cakes with tomato, onion, garlic, red pepper, sometimes cod and rabbit.
